Navigation: Airfob Pro app > Monitoring > Door Status
With the Airfob Pro app, administrators can control or open doors remotely from anywhere, anytime.
After installing the device, you must create or modify a door, so that you are ready to use the door control function smoothly.
Reference
If you are an administrator and need to open the door once in a while, you can open the door remotely via the Airfob Pro app when a visitor arrives at your doorstep.
- Access the Monitoring > Door Status menu in the Airfob Pro app.
- All the doors registered to your site will be listed, and you'll see the OPEN button on the right. If the device which is installed the door is properly connected to power and network, the button will be activated in dark blue.
- This feature allows you to open the door once for a visitor.
- The door will close immediately after opening, and you will need to authenticate with your mobile card as normal to gain access. This can be used to open the door for a one-time visitor (meeting, delivery, etc.).
In the list of doors, click the ⁝ icon on the right.
You can see the status of the relays and door sensors connected to that door, and whether the door mode is applied. Refer to the description below to help you use the modes in appropriate situations.
Door Name : The door nickname you entered in Device information appears as the door name.
Relay Status : Door relay status
Door Sensor : Door sensor status
Door Mode : Displays if the Unlock or Lock mode is applied to the door.
Enable Unlock Mode
When you tap the Enable Unlock Mode button, the door remains fully open. No authentication is required, such as a mobile card or RF card, and anyone can enter freely. (Ex, leaving the ground floor entrance of a public building unlocked during business hours of the day.)
Enable Lock Mode
When you tap the Enable Lock Mode button, the door will remain completely closed. No matter what method you use to authenticate, such as a mobile card or RF card, no one will be able to open the door.
Disable Mode
After setting the Unlock or Lock mode, this button dismisses the function. The mode you set is immediately turned off, and the door return to the normal state where you can open the door after authenticating to the Airfob device with your mobile card.
※ What exactly is the difference between the Unlock / Lock mode feature in the Airfob Pro app and the Unlock / Lock schedule setting in the Airfob Pro portal?
You can also apply the Unlock / Lock schedules in the Registered Devices menu in the Airfob Pro portal. The portal allows you to pre-set a date and time for the Unlock / Lock status for each device, and the schedule will automatically apply to the Airfob device. If you want to apply the Unlock / Lock feature on a regular or precise schedule, you can set it up in advance in the Airfob Pro portal.
You can also choose not to set a schedule in advance and use the feature immediately if you need it through the Airfob Pro app.
