Door Groups

Door Groups

If you have installed multiple Airfob devices to control access to different spaces in your building, you will need to add many doors to the Registered Doors menu on your site. To make this easier, you can categorize Door Groups.

Door groups can be categorized based on the location of doors (building, floors, etc.), purpose (office, lab, break room, etc.), etc.

Add a Door Groups

1. Go to the Door Groups menu in the Door Management category.
2. Click the + Add Door Group button in the upper right corner of the door groups screen.
3. In the Add Door Group pop-up panel, enter a name for the door group (Ex. 17th floor, 10th floor, etc.).
4. The doors you added from the Registered doors menu will appear under 'Add doors'. Select the doors you want to include in the group. (Ex. 17th floor office, 17th floor conference room A, etc.)
5. Click OK to create the door group.

※ Door groups and access levels

Access levels are permissions to open a group of doors or individual doors. If you create a access level that allows you to open certain doors at certain times and days, and assign it to a user, the user can only open those doors with their mobile card at those times and days. When you create an access level, you can select a group of doors or individual doors. For a detailed explanation, click here to read Access Manaugement > Access levels guide.
