If you're using an iOS smartphone, you'll often see the Apple Pay app running at the same time you use your mobile card in the background mode,

Why is the Apple Pay app showing up?

This occurs when a payment card is registered in Apple Wallet.
To use a mobile card, when you touch the NFC area of your iOS smartphone to the mobile card reader, the Apple Pay app is automatically launched. Even if you select Bluetooth as the contact method in the Airfob App, the same phenomenon may occur because the Bluetooth and NFC areas of the smartphone are very close.

Even if the Apple Pay app is running, the door can be opened normally. However, if it is cumbersome and you don't want the Apple Pay app to launch every time, read the solutions below.

Solution : Using Airfob app in the foreground mode

If you set the Airfob app's connnection method to "App is Running" and use the app in foreground mode, the Apple Pay app no longer appears.
1. Tap the ≡ button in the upper right corner of the Airfob app to open the hidden menu.
2. Choose the contact method to "App is Running".
3. Return to the main screen of the app to use your mobile card again.

* App is running mode: To open the door, you need to tag your mobile card with the screen of the Airfob app on your smartphone turned on. It helps reduce battery consumption compared to when using in Always mode.
