Floor Levels

Floor Levels

In buildings where the Elevator module and Airfob devices are connected, users can press the floor buttons on the elevator after authenticating their mobile card to the Airfob device installed inside the elevator in order to travel to each floor.
A Floor Levels a menu that creates access permissions for days, times, and floors that allow users to operate buttons on specific floors.

It is only available if you have additionally installed the Elevator module to control the elevators installed in your building with Airfob. Before adding floor levels, you must first complete adding an elevator in the Elevator Management > Registered Elevator menu. (check here to find the Registered Elevator guide)

In this article, you will learn how to 1) add a floor level and 2) assign a floor level to each user.

Adding a floor level

A floor level is one of the access levels that you can grant directly to a user. Users can only operate the elevator buttons on their floor during the times and days that are included in the floor level they have been granted.
Even if you use the Elevator module, you might not want to assign floor levels to users. In this case, the schedule that was applied when you added the elevator is automatically applied to the user.

To add a floor level, you must first add an elevator in advance from the Elevator Management > Registered Elevators menu.
The schedule to be applied to the floor must be created in advance in the Access Management > Schedules menu.

1. Go to the Access Management > Floor Levels menu, and click the + Add Floor Level button in the top right corner.
2. When the Add Floor Level pop-up screen appears, select or enter the information of each item.
Add floor: Select a registered elevator. You can batch apply to all elevators, or assign different schedules to each floor.
Schedule name: Select the schedule you want to reflect on the floor selected in Add floor above. The days and times applied to that schedule are displayed below.

Assigning floor levels

To control access to specific floors for users, you need to give each user's information a floor level. You can assign different floor levels to every user.
Because floor levels are a subset of the elevator schedule, if you don't assign a floor level to a user, the user's access is automatically controlled by the schedule applied to the elevator.

Assigning floor levels to registered users

On the User Management > Users menu, click an already registered user. On the Edit user information pop-up screen, you can optionally grant a floor level.

Granting a floor level to a new user

In the User Management > Users menu, click the + Add user button. When entering new user information, you can optionally assign a floor level.
Alternatively, when adding users by uploading a CSV file, you can enter the IDs of the floor levels in the CSV template to apply permissions. If you're wondering where the floor ID is, you can find it in the first column of the floor levels table.
