Fire Muster / Roll Call

Fire Muster / Roll Call

Roll Call is a feature that allows you to count all of your activated users in the event of an emergency. It allows them to mark themselves safe by tapping their Airfob Space mobile credential or RFID card on a designated muster point reader. Administrators can also mark people safe by checking them off of a list in the Airfob Pro app.

Before using the Roll Call feature, you must designate at least one muster point in the Airfob Pro portal, in advance. You can set up different muster points for different user groups. An administrator can initiate a roll call at any time using the Airfob Pro app, to ensure that employees, guests, and members are safe in the event of an emergency.

In this article, you will learn 1) how to add a muster point in the Airfob Pro Portal, 2) how to view Roll Call history, and 3) how to run a Roll Call.

A detailed tutorial video on setting Roll Call up in Airfob Pro portal and running in Airfob Pro app is available at the bottom of this article.

When you enter the Advanced > Roll Call menu in your Airfob Pro portal, you will see a + Add Muster Point button in the top right corner of the screen, which you can click to add a muster point. We recommend adding them when you initialize your site, just in case you end up using the Roll Call feature. If you have a large number of users added to your site, you can distribute each user group goes to a different muster point.
1) Click the + Add Muster Point button to add a place for users to gather.
2) Enter the name of the muster point, such as the ground floor entrance or emergency door.
3) Select the device installed on the muster point door. The selected device appears in the Selected devices box.
4) Select the user groups you want to move to this muster point. Depending on the number of people, you can gather all users in one location, or distribute them to multiple locations.
5) Click the Save button to finish.
