Device Groups

Learn how to create and manage device groups in the Airfob Pro app.

If you have multiple Airfob devices installed on your site, you can create and categorize groups based on device installation location, permissions, and more for easy management.

Airfob Pro app > Access points > Devices


To add a device group

  1. Access the Access Points menu at the bottom of the Airfob Pro app.
  2. Select the Devices menu.
  3. Click the Groups button above the list of enrolled devices.
  4. Click the + button in the upper right corner of the device group list screen.
  5. On the Add device group screen, enter a name for the device group.
  6. Check the devices that will be included in this group from the list below.
  7. Click the Save button to finalize the device group creation.



Add a subgroup

You can create subgroups under a parent group. You must create the parent group first, and then you can add subgroups.

  1. Click the + button in the upper-right corner of the device group list screen.
  2. Click the toggle to the right of Add subgroup to turn green.
  3. Select the parent group you want to include the subgroup in.
  4. Enter a group name for the subgroup, and select the devices you want to include.
  5. Click the Save button to finalize adding the child device group.
