If you want to control access privileges specifically for special holidays, such as public holidays, company anniversaries, or summer holidays, you can create holiday groups.
All the menus in Access Management are related to creating the access rights you grant to users. Holiday groups can be applied when creating a schedule, and access can be automatically controlled on specific days included in the holiday group.
In this article, you can understand how to create a holiday group with examples. A tutorial video is also available at the bottom of the article.
+ Add Holiday Groups
You can add a holiday group by the + Add holiday group button in the top right corner of the holiday groups menu. Below, you'll find descriptions and examples of each item to help you learn more about how to use them.
Group name: Holiday group name, such as Traditional holidays, company holidays, etc. (You can also add only one holiday to a holiday group.)
Holiday name: Detailed holiday name, such as New Year day, Thanksgiving day, company establishment, etc. (This can be the same as the holiday group name.)
Date: Specify a special day as a holiday.
Repeat Annually: Click the checkbox if the holiday will be repeated on the same date every year.
Date Range: If you want to specify a clear start and end date for the holiday, click the checkbox for Date Range. The date fields will change to allow you to select a start and end date. (Summer holidays, temporary closures, etc.)
Week: For holidays that start in a specific week, click Week.
Month/Week/Day of the Week: Specify the specific week and day the holiday starts on. (Thanksgiving: 3rd Sunday in November)
Add: When all the entries for the holiday are entered, click the Add button. You can add one or more holidays to the group immediately.
Click the holiday you want to edit from the list, or click the checkbox next to the holiday name and click the pencil-shaped edit icon. Then a pop-up screen will be displayed and all information can be edited.
