2FA (Email Authentication)

2FA (Email Authentication)

Email two-factor authentication is a feature that enhances security by requiring Airfob admins to enter an additional verification code when logging in to the Airfob Pro app or portal.

Even if your email address and password are revealed to someone else, they can not access it if they can not verify your email further.

Activating the two-factor authentication (2FA) feature

  1. Access the Airfob Pro portal with the master admin account. (Only the site master can make any change in the Site menu for security)
  2. Navigate to the Settings > Site > Security menu.
  3. Click the toggle to the right of the Email Authentication item to change it to green.
  4. Email two-factor authentication is now enabled.

To receive an email verification code

  1. After your site master complete the security settings in the Airfob Pro portal, email two-factor verification will be required from your next login.
  2. Turn on the Airfob Pro app and sign in with your email and password.
  3. You will be prompted to enter a verification code.
  4. Find the email sent by Airfob Pro in the inbox of the email you entered during login.
  5. Enter the 6-digit numeric code on the screen.
  6. You have successfully connected to the Airfob Pro app.

You can find the verification code email in the mailbox of the same email as your Airfob admin account email.

If you can't find it, check your spam folder.
